Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa Asks If 31 July Demo Was A Major Flop Or Forced Mass Stay Away

The July 31 protests did not leave up to the hype or produce results organisers wanted . As many people were left confused on where the demostrators would meet or where they would go.  Job Sakala and Chamisa were missing in Action. Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa posted the following on her Twitter account. and aslo asked if successful Mass Stay Away? Or a forced Mass Stay Away

Who is leading the July 31st Protest and where are they? What are the logistics (meeting points, times and routes)? I've just seen a few Tweets for safety and "solidarity" - am I missing something? #JULY31 #Zimbabwe

After Ruveneko posted the tweet many people responded by saying people are not stupid and dont want to get beat up or be used like in 2016.

Ruvheneko asl asked if many people were protesting from thier keyboards and not in ste streets

Ruvheneko also posted the following on her twitter

Many are protesting on their keyboards, claiming Unity in the safety of their homes, but
are leading from the front taking hits for “the team.”

Expressing ones Constitutional Rights shouldn’t be high risk gambles.
No one can decide that because of their name, one has no right to speak on National issues. I stand with my generation & want better for us. I appreciate anger needs a punching bag, but if that bag is human, please punch the right bag

I salute all the brave Zimbabweans who have taken a stand- some of us have lost our jobs. Thrice. No such “privilege.” So, play a part, but let’s not tear each other apart. Emotions are high, I can feel it! That’s okay. We are all passionate. But I am you, I am me, I am Zimbabwe.
