ZIMDANCEHALL chanter Seh Calaz, makes at least US$8 000 a month from his live shows, according to his former wife, Moira Knight. The musician, whose real name is Tawanda Mumanyi, charges between US$1 800 and US$2 000 per each live show and holds an average of four shows a month. He also has two studios, where he charges US$40 per recording session. Seh Calaz has been dragged to the Harare Civil Court by Moira, who is seeking child support for their two-year-old son. The two made headlines recently after Moira instructed her lawyers to demand child support. She claimed the musician had neglected his responsibilities as a father. The Court has removed the case from the roll. As you may have read from social media and press that my lawyer attacked her case on two grounds; 1. That her purported affidavit was not properly authenticated. 2. That the attachments she used were not in the official Court language. And also the fact that she attacked me first. The Zimbabwe National Army and the Zimbabwe Republic police this morning raided the home of Prophetic Healing and Deliverance leader Prophet Walter Magaya. The raid at his Mount Pleasant home was part of an undisclosed criminal investigation. Zimbabwe Republic Police national spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the development to Herald, but did not disclose more details pertaining to the criminal investigation.
