Parents from Beitbridge hired a Vicky Logistics bus, which was carrying about 55 learners who were going to Chibi High School, located near Masvingo town. As usual, the learners were carrying their trunks packed with school groceries and uniforms.
We received a report that the bus was stopped and is currently being detained by ZACC at Bubi since around 08:30 hours.
ZACC officials have stated that the bus is carrying a large quantity of groceries that need to be inspected by ZIMRA officials. They are requesting that the bus be driven back to the border. The bus was loaded at Engen Garage early this morning.
