A man from Manyika Growth Point was caught red-handed (“abatwa nemupurwa”) after spending weeks targeting and sweet-talking women at the local market.
Witnesses say he had become a well-known smooth-talker, moving stall to stall promising love and small gifts to different women. His luck finally ran out when the women compared notes and confronted him, causing chaos at the market as vendors shouted and demanded answers. The drama drew a huge crowd, with many warning others to be careful of sweet-tongued strangers who roam around “kutsvaga vakadzi pamusika.”
