This is the face of Amos Pearson, a 58-year-old father of six who was brutally murdered in his own home in Kuwadzana 5.
The suspect? A heartless thief named Bigboy Majenje from Kuwadzana 4. According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police, Majenje broke into Amos’ home in the dead of night. But Amos wasn’t the type to run or hide. He confronted the intruder like any real man protecting his family would.
What followed was a violent fight. Amos was seriously injured and tragically died from the wounds inflicted during that senseless altercation. His only crime? Defending his home. Defending his family.
Bigboy Majenje is now in police custody facing murder and housebreaking charges. But that won’t bring Amos back. His children have lost a father. The community has lost a man of courage. And Zimbabwe has lost another innocent soul to crime.
