Socialite and businesswoman Olinda Chapel has gone full throttle on social media, accusing an unnamed woman of issuing death threats against her and her daughter — and invoking international diplomacy in the explosive showdown.
In a no-holds-barred Facebook post, Olinda warned that she would not be intimidated, claiming the threats were being made “using the President’s office” — an allegation she dismissed with open contempt.
"You do not threaten me or my daughter using the President’s office,” Olinda wrote.
“Why are you hurt that he is back with his wife to a point you are making death threats because you are a side chick and are affiliated?”
The outspoken socialite went further, declaring that the matter had escalated beyond Zimbabwe, saying she had alerted British authorities.
"My daughter and I are British. I have notified the British Embassy and British Foreign Affairs and this has now become political,” she said.
Olinda also claimed she had recorded all calls, audios and messages, adding that everything had been securely saved.
“I have recorded all the calls, audios, messages. All saved on the cloud. Why are you hunting for my home?”
In one of the post’s most incendiary lines, Olinda appeared to draw a sharp line between state power and personal vendettas.
"This country is run by the President of Zimbabwe and the First Lady. Not by side chicks like you,” she wrote.
“The President’s office doesn’t run your stupid personal errands.”
She ended the post with a chilling declaration: "Let’s make this an international incident.”
