A worrying incident recently took place at St Mary’s High School in Beitbridge involving two students. According to school sources, a misunderstanding reportedly arose between a Form 4 learner, identified as Lilian Mu, and a younger Form 1 student after an argument linked to a personal dispute. The situation allegedly escalated into a physical altercation, leaving one of the students injured and in need of medical attention.
School officials have since confirmed that disciplinary procedures and counseling measures are being put in place to address the matter and provide support to those affected. Parents and community members have expressed concern over the rise in student conflicts, calling for stronger emotional guidance programs and conflict-resolution lessons in schools.
