Cde Mudiwa, Change Champion Mapengo, Hon. Chagwiza, and Hon. Chigweregwere have been arrested for planning to take part in today’s anti-government protests organized by war veteran Blessed Geza. Reports indicate that the four are currently being held at Harare Central Police Station.

several individuals who took part in today’s anti-government protests organized by war veteran Blessed Geza have been arrested.Reports say ZANU PF activist Rutendo Matinyarare was arrested earlier today for allegedly flying a drone at Africa Unity Square. He was briefly detained at Harare Central Police Station before being released.
Police had cordoned off the area around Africa Unity Square, citing security concerns following planned demonstrations called for by war veteran Blessed Runesu Geza.
After his release, Matinyarare posted a video downplaying reports of his arrest. He said he was only taken to the police station to check if he could get permission to record videos around Africa Unity Square. However, it seems the request was denied, as he has since stopped filming in that area.
