I would like to report a guy with a Honda Fit doing rounds in service stations, asking attendants to fill up and then running away without paying. He has hit four service stations in Harare already as I speak, and there could be more because these four are the ones I know of.
Just a heads-up for other service stations yet to be hit by this guy’s modus operandi. He distracts you by disembarking from his vehicle to chat and sometimes wash his windscreen. When you start shaking the vehicle, he gets inside as if to look for cash, starts
the car while checking his rear-view mirror, and the moment you close the fuel cap, he speeds off. The registration number AEW 6795 on that car does not belong to this Honda Fit.I think it's high time each service station must have a boom gate at each exit...
