*Update: A police officer named Innocent Muchechesi tragically died at Sanyati Police Station in an incident linked to a suspect in the case of Ruwa businessman Joseph Mutangadura.
According to the suspect, officers from CID Homicide came to his home, and he ran away during the visit. During the escape, one of the officers was reportedly injured in a shootout. The suspect claims that when he later returned home, he found that $1,000 in cash was missing.
He then went to the Sanyati Police Station charge office, where the CID officers were not present. There, an unfortunate incident occurred in which Constable Muchechesi, who was not involved in the case, lost his life.
