Judge Has Not Decided On Bail For Fantan & Levels Judgement Reserved

The Judge has not made a decision yet on wether to give Fantan & Levels bail. Decision can come anytime.  People were posting fake news that the trio had been granted 20k bail each which was false.

BAIL JUDGEMENT RESERVED!

The High Court has reserved judgement on an application by Chillspot Records’ DJ Fantan and Levels together with promoter, Dammer.

They applied for bail pending their appeal against sentence by the Magistrates’ Court.

Lawyer Tafadzwa Hungwe said:
“We made a joint application for bail pending appeal for the three accused persons Dhama, Fantan and Levels. Judgment was reserved.”

After pleading guilty to a charge of staging a New Year’s eve gig against police orders, they were each sentenced to 12 months in prison, six of which were suspended while six were effective.

Judgment has reportedly been reserved in the bail pending appeal application case of popular music promoters DJ Fantan (real name Arnold Kamudyariwa ) and Levels (real name Rodger Tafadzwa Kadzimwe).

This was revealed by ZTN in an update that stated that:

High Court Judge justice Davison Foroma has reserved judgment in the bail application by organisers of the Mbare New Year Eve gig- Dammar, DJ Fantan and DJ Levelz.

The duo including another promoter named Dammar was jailed for 12 months before 6 months were suspended after they hosted a New Year bash in Mbare against the government’s restrictions against public gatherings.
