Mukomana Asungwa video of him allegedly criticising President Mnangagwa and the ZiG currency went viral. 

Ezekiel Chiradza (35), a security guard with the Beitbridge Town Council, was arrested after a video of him allegedly criticising President Mnangagwa and the ZiG currency went viral. 

 

 

 

 

 

He was convicted by Beitbridge Regional Magistrate Charity Maposa of undermining or insulting the President and sentenced to six months in jail. However, he avoided serving time after paying a US$300 fine.
