Condolence Message from His Worship, Councillor Aleck Tabe, Mayor of the City of Masvingo, on the Passing of Ward 7 Councillor Tafara Masimba Masvingo, 13 July 2025 It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of Masvingo Urban Ward 7 Councillor, Tafara Masimba, who departed this life at 11:50 PM on 12 July 2025 at his home in Rujeko after battling health challenges. Councillor Masimba was elected in the 2023 municipal elections and served the people of Ward 7 with dedication, humility, and an unwavering commitment to public service under the leadership of President Nelson Chamisa. His efforts to uplift the
community and contribute to the growth of Masvingo City will be remembered with deep appreciation. Further information regarding funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.
