A shocking and bizarre incident unfolded at Wicknell Chivayo’s luxurious mansion after a mysterious owl, locally referred to as “ziti,” was discovered perched inside his gazebo late at night. According to witnesses, the owl appeared out of nowhere and refused to leave despite repeated attempts by staff to chase it away. In many Zimbabwean traditional beliefs, the sudden appearance of an owl at someone’s home—especially at night—is often associated with bad omens, witchcraft, or spiritual attacks.
