? Reports and widely shared footage show Professor Lovemore Madhuku and members of his movement being physically attacked in their own offices.
This is deeply disturbing.
✋ Violence is NOT debate.
? Fear is NOT leadership.
Zimbabweans must reject the normalization of intimidation — no matter the victim, no matter the perpetrators.
⚖️ This is bigger than one individual. It’s about whether our nation is governed by law or by fear.
? The Constitution of Zimbabwe protects:
✅ Freedom of association
✅ Freedom of expression
✅ Political participation
✅ Personal security
These rights apply to EVERY citizen, regardless of party.
⚠️ If intimidation is tolerated today, tomorrow it may be used against anyone who dares to:
? Question power
? Demand accountability
✊ Speak for reform
Zimbabwe deserves better. Power built on fear is fragile.
Legitimacy comes from the people — not from force.
? Let all allegations of violence be investigated transparently.
⚖️ Let the law take its course.
✅ Let justice be seen to be done.
? Silence protects no one.
The rule of law protects everyone.
