Panashe Nyakwima from Harare, a student at the Chinhoyi University of Technology, has been arrested after he allegedly stole a pistol from his landlord. Reports say he went on to rob a pharmacy in Harare using the stolen gun and later used part of the money to buy groceries for his girlfriend.
The incident has surprised many, as Nyakwima is said to be a promising university student. Police have confirmed his arrest and say investigations into the matter are still ongoing.
