President Mnangagwa reshuffles ZANU PF Politburo

THE President and First Secretary of ZANU PF, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa, has made new appointments to the ruling party’s Politburo this Tuesday.

In a statement released by the ruling party, Advocate Jacob Mudenda, who was the Treasurer General, has been appointed the new Secretary General.

 

 

 

 

Cde Patrick Chinamasa, who was Secretary for Legal Affairs, is the new Treasurer General.

Cde Obert Mpofu, who was the Secretary General, has been appointed Secretary for Information Communication Technology (ICT).

 

 

 

 

Cde Ziyambi Ziyambi, who was the Secretary for ICT, is the new Secretary for Legal Affairs.

The changes, which are effective immediately, are in accordance with the ZANU PF Constitution, specifically Article 9 Section 65 as read with Section 67.
