Four women posing as massage therapists at a Harare lodge were each fined US$100 after pleading guilty to soliciting prostitution through online platforms. The accused—Sekai Chisango , Fadzai Mukucha (20), Faith Pahlani (28), and Liana Demberere (21)—appeared before Harare magistrate Lisa Mutendereki and admitted violating laws that prohibit using publicly accessible electronic media to solicit for prostitution.
Their online advertisement for “Closure Perfect Touch Spa” claimed eight women were available around the clock and included redacted images of the women. An informant contacted the business via WhatsApp to ask about services and location, leading
