SO SAD: Cyclist killed in Borrowdale Road crash
A man was killed on the spot after being struck by a female motorist along Borrowdale Road near Wishdon shops late Sunday afternoon.
Police attended the scene, while witnesses said both the motorist and the cyclist were travelling towards Hatcliffe when the accident occurred.

e visibly shaken driver told those at the scene: “I only saw the cyclist in front of my car. I don’t know what happened.”
She added that she was returning from rural areas after attending a funeral, saying her uncle had been swept away by floods earlier this week and his son died days later.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
