BRIGADIER General (Retired) Mathias Tizirai Ngarava has died.
The Commander of the Zimbabwe National Army, Lieutenant General Asher Walter Tapfumanei, confirmed to State media that Brigadier General (Retired) Ngarava passed away on 25 December 2025 at Chinhoyi General
Hospital.Mourners have since been gathering at House Number 64701, Mapao Phase Two in Chinhoyi, to pay their last respects and offer condolences to the bereaved family.
Details regarding burial arrangements are expected to be announced in due course.
