Tinotenda Hove – The ZANU PF party and the Mashonaland Central community are mourning the death of veteran party member and former leader Shadreck Chirwanemoto.

In a statement, Tsenengamu said the loss had left a deep void within both the party and the province.
“It is sad to note that the Mt Darwin community, the entire Mashonaland Central province and the revolutionary party ZANU PF has lost a seasoned cadre, Cde Shadreck Chirwanemoto,” he said.
He outlined Chirwanemoto’s long service to the ruling party, noting that he had held several senior positions over the years.He was a former DCC Chairman, Provincial member, Central Committee and NCA member who passed away today at Mt Darwin District Hospital,” Tsenengamu said.
Describing the death as a major blow, he added: “We have been robbed.”Tsenengamu concluded his message with a tribute to the late party stalwart, saying: “Rest in power aNzou.”
