-The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed the arrest of Jelous Musasa (35) in connection with the murder of his wife, Monica Tabvuroona (30), which occurred on 16 December 2025 at Village 7D1, Nyadzonya, Nyazura.According to police reports, Musasa allegedly attacked Tabvuroona with a log after accusing her of failing to greet him. The victim sustained severe head injuries and later succumbed to them
In a separate incident, police in Chimanimani arrested Tonderai Masaiti (37) on 17 December 2025 in connection with the murder of his brother, Benjamin Masaiti (43). Police say Tonderai allegedly assisted his sister-in-law, Chipo Chirigo (45), in attacking the victim. The dispute reportedly arose from allegations that Tonderai was having an affair with Chirigo, who was married to Benjamin Masaiti.Chipo Chirigo remains at large, and authorities are appealing to the
public for information that may lead to her arrest. Police have urged anyone with relevant information to report to their nearest station.
