UNIVERSITY OF VENDA FIRST YEAR STUDENT FOUND STABBED TO DEATH IN HER ROOM BY HER BOYFRIEND
The boyfriend attempted to flee by jumping through a second-floor window. He sustained injuries in the fall and is now receiving medical treatment at a local hospital under police guard. Allegedly, she was accused of cheating by her boyfriend.
According to eyewitness accounts and university statements, the couple entered their shared residence in good spirits on Friday afternoon, showing no visible signs of distress or conflict.
However, just minutes later, screams and loud noises emanated from their locked room, alerting nearby residents and prompting a swift response from
campus security. Upon forcing entry into the room, security personnel discovered the young woman lying in a pool of blood, unresponsive and later declared dead at the scene. Two knives believed to have been used in the attack were recovered from the room.
