In what is bad news for fans of the hit online drama series, Wadiwa Wepa Moyo, production manager Kudakwashe Jani confirmed season two of the show is only coming next year.

Despite only airing online on the College Central channel on Youtube, the series has attracted a multitude of follows and garnered rave reviews.

Wadiwa Wepa Moyo has already aired 10 episodes of the first season. The series chronicles, the aspirations, challenges, and love lives of young people in ghettos.

Jani said they are working on other projects with Wadiwa Wepamoyo Season 2 scheduled for release in January 2021.

Jani said:

Wadiwa Wepa Moyo Season 2 is scheduled for January next year. There’s nothing really for now as we’re working on other projects.

Among the forthcoming projects is a comedy movie titled Organised Crime which Jani said they hope will resonate with most locals just like Wadiwa Wepa Moyo. Organized Crime features a star-studded cast that includes legendary actor Stephen Chigorimbo known for the role John Huni in Studio 263, lead actress Melinda Shumba who played Saru in Special Class, Chati Butao who played Godobori in Gringo Troublemaker, Monalisa Tendere and Dillion Mafukidze who played Sis Shami and Biko respectively in Wadiwa Wepa Moyo and comedians Doc Vikela and Gonyeti.

In June this year, Jani told The Chronicle that the movie, Organized Crime will hit the small screens by November.

Season 1 of Wadiwa Wepa Moyo aired on the national broadcaster ZBC.

College Central had their YouTube Channel hacked with the individual behind the hack deleting all of their 30+ videos and renaming the channel to Dave Ramsey Live.

College Central failed to recover their old YouTube channel and have created a new one. They appealed for subscribers to help them get back on track.
