Zimbabwe government cuts luxury cars and foreign trips to save money
The Zimbabwean Government has announced new measures to save money and focus on important national needs. Under the plan, the government will limit the purchase of luxury vehicles and reduce unnecessary foreign travel by public officials.
The changes are part of the National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2) and fall under its “Expenditure Rationalisation” program. The goal is to control government spending and use the saved money for key areas like healthcare, education, infrastructure, and social services.
