Zimdancehall artist Ras Pompy, real name Nyasha Reginald Mano, has been jailed for six months after he was caught with 100 bottles of cough syrup valued at US$396.
The musician was arrested in Rugare after a dramatic high-speed chase when he tried to escape from CID Drugs detectives. His vehicle, together with the cough syrup, was confiscated by the police.
