This is despite his allies calling for him to stay in power longer. Ambulance technician and accomplices jailed for stealing US$1,260 from accident victim in Kwekwe An ambulance technician and two accomplices have been convicted in Kwekwe after stealing money from a road accident victim they were meant to help. Edius Mugonegwa (40), who works for Redcliff Municipality, together with Pride Makamba (25) and Anashe Mukwamba (23), took US$1,260 in cash and US$10 airtime from an injured man during an accident on the Kwekwe–Redcliff Road on 7 September 2025.
