A woman reported missing by her family in Texas has been found living amongst a lost “African” tribe in the Scottish woodlands. The Kingdom of Kubala claim they have settled in a forest in Jedburgh, with the intention of reclaiming land that was stolen from their ancestors in the Highlands 400 years ago. The trio consists of group leader King Atehene, 36, who was previously an opera singer under the name Kofi Offeh, his wife, Queen Nandi, and their handmaiden Asnat. It has now emerged that Asnat, Lady Safi, is Kaura Taylor from Texas, who has been reported missing by her family in the US. “To the UK authorities, obviously I am not missing,” she said in a video message from the camp. “Leave me alone. I’m an adult, not a helpless child.”

LONDON — What was supposed to be a life-changing move to the United Kingdom has turned into a nightmare for Joseph Moyo, a 45-year-old Zimbabwean father of two, after he was scammed out of £28,000 by a fellow countryman in a fake Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) job deal. Joe, who sold his cattle, borrowed from relatives, and even sold his late father’s plot in Gweru to raise the money, thought he had finally secured his future. A fellow Zimbabwean “agent” living in the UK promised him a legal job in the care sector and a valid CoS — the key document required to get a UK work visa. But when Joe arrived in London earlier this year, he was hit with the devastating truth: the CoS was fake. His visa application was immediately rejected, leaving hi
Toronto — What started as an ordinary winter morning turned into a life-saving mission that has captured hearts across Canada and Zimbabwe. Tafadzwa “Taffy” Moyo, a 28-year-old nurse originally from Bulawayo, was jogging along Lake Ontario on Monday morning when she heard screams for help. A toddler had wandered away from a nearby park and fallen through thin ice. Without hesitation, Taffy threw off her coat and rushed toward the freezing water. Eyewitnesses say she crawled carefully across the ice before plunging into the frigid lake to grab the struggling child. “I didn’t even think. All I knew was someone’s baby needed help,” Taffy told reporters, still shivering as she recounted the moment. “I thought of my little niece back home
