Award-winning Mbira musician, Mbuya Stella Chiweshe has died. She reportedly passed on this morning at her Kuwadzana home in Harare, relatives have confirmed. Born Stella Rambisai Nekati Chiweshe on July 8, 1946 in Mujumi Village, Mhondoro, Mbuya Stella Chiweshe was undoubtedly Zimbabwe’s Queen of Mbira and one of the country’s foremost cultural exports. A bizarre incident that left people of Zhombe shell-shocked occurred yesterday when a goat gave birth to a humanlike kid. Chief Gwesela confirmed the incident saying the goat belong to a Mr Khumalo of Mzondeki village in St Andrews area. Speaking to Zimbalivenews Gwesela said, "I visited the homestead and saw it myself, my people are also taken aback by such an incident. "The goat has both human female and male private parts, the face also resembles a human face". Zimbabwe Introduces Gold Coins As Local Currency RTGS Falls Apart Zimbabwe’s central bank said it would start selling gold coins this month as a store of value to tame runaway inflation, which has considerably weakened the local currency.
