THE government has appealed to the next of kin of those who perished in the DNC Coaches bus crash in Limpopo, South Africa, to come forward and assist in the identification of their relatives.

 

 

 

 

The tragic accident occurred on Sunday evening, claiming more than 40 lives.

In a press statement released this Tuesday, the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works confirmed that it is releasing buses to carry the relatives of the victims to South Africa this Wednesday.

 

 

 

 

 

The buses will depart from the National Disaster Management Centre at Makombe Building in Harare at 12 noon.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has since declared the accident a state of disaster, with the deceased set to get state-assisted funerals, while medical bills for the injured shall be met by the state.
