HEARTBREAKING? | Kona Mandlenkosi (27), who was working as a security guard, has become the latest victim of a surge in armed robberies targeting schools and churches in Harare West.
The incident happened on Monday night at Hallingbury Primary School. He was attack€d by three armed robbers, who assault€d him with crowbars and struck him on the head with bricks. He suffered a deep head injury and later di€d at a hospital.
Police say they are investigating this case, which is believed to be linked to another robbery at Marlborough High School. Authorities have increased security in areas such as Marlborough, Mabelreign and Westgate, and have urged the public not to spread unverified information.
