Unknown assailants petrol-bombed and destroyed the Kwekwe farm residence of Bishop Ngoni Mwazha — son of the late African Apostolic Church founder Archbishop Paul Mwazha — in a shocking late-night attack that left property worth more than US$150,000 reduced to ashes.

The terrifying incident unfolded while the family was away in Harare. According to Bishop Mwazha’s wife, Desiree Kwaramba-Mwazha, their daughter Loveness was alone inside the sprawling 13-roomed house when she was startled by a loud bang and the sound of shattering glass.

Moments later, flames erupted through the home after what is believed to have been a petrol bomb attack. Acting quickly, Loveness narrowly escaped the inferno and rushed to alert farm workers, who desperately tried to contain the blaze. However, the fire spread rapidly, engulfing the residence and destroying valuable property before it could be brought under control.
