The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) will release the 2025 Grade 7 examination results at noon on Friday, 28 November.
Primary and Secondary Education Minister Torerayi Moyo said this is the third year in a row that national exams have been completed without any leaks. He added:
“I commend the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC), our dedicated educators, and all stakeholders who have worked tirelessly to ensure a credible and transparent examination process.
“To our learners and parents, I urge you to receive the results with dignity and hope.
“These results are not just a reflection of academic performance, but a stepping stone toward a brighter future.
“Let us continue to build an education system that is inclusive, accountable, and aligned with the aspirations of our great nation.”
The ZIMSEC Grade 7 national pass rate for 2024 rose to 49.01%, up from 45.57% in 2023. A total of 387,429 pupils sat the exams, up from 372,603 in 2023, a 3.98% increase.
