The drink, known as Tembeya, is popular in Harare but has raised serious safety concerns. Authorities say the drink may contain undisclosed alcohol and is being sold without proper regulation.
The company, Tembeya Africa Beverages, was also investigated last year over similar concerns about the drink’s safety and its possible link to serious health problems and deaths.
