Injured Chitiyo feels abandoned

The 26-year old was a victim of a hit and run accident six months ago which left his knee shattered in Epworth, Harare. He requires about R115 000 ($12 000) for the operation.

In an interview with Sunday Mail, Chitiyo feels abandoned by Makepekepe who might deregister him during this mid-season transfer window.

“People love you when you are fit and playing, but when you are down and out they seem not to care much,” said Chitiyo.

“Yes I wasn’t injured on the field of play, but I expected the club to help me because I am a Caps United player.

“If I mattered to them would they be dragging their feet on this matter? Can a club like Caps United not raise such an amount? How about borrowing?

“I love Caps United and expect them to love me back. I might not be playing, but I am always at the stadium to watch every home game, I am always going to the dressing room to see the coach and the other players.”

How a Truck Accident Lawyer Maximizes Your Injury Claim Settlement

Truck accident lawyers specialize in handling high-value injury claims involving commercial vehicles. Because trucking companies carry substantial insurance policies, these cases often involve large settlements. However, insurers also deploy aggressive defense tactics to reduce liability. An experienced attorney understands these strategies and counters them effectively, ensuring that victims receive fair compensation for injuries and damages.

A strong claim requires detailed evidence, including accident reports, expert testimony, and medical documentation. Truck collision attorneys also analyze black box data and driver compliance with safety regulations. By building a comprehensive case, they increase the likelihood of securing compensation that covers long-term medical care, rehabilitation, and financial losses.
