Mwana Adyiwa Ne Imbwa Dzevanhu Ve Zanupf

The horror of a child’s life ending not in illness, not in an accident—but in the jaws of five feral dogs on a quiet farm once considered a safe haven. In the heart of Darwendale, tragedy struck when young Shelton Panganai was discovered lifeless, his small body mauled beyond recognition at Bornvally Farm. What should have sparked immediate justice instead took a dark turn—one marked by whispered phone calls to powerful politicians, a silenced investigation, and a community now gripped by fear and unanswered questions.

But beneath the silence and suspicion lies a crucial document that tells a different story — the official mortuary form from Parirenyatwa Police Hospital, dated 21 July 2025. This document, signed by the attending pathologist, explicitly records Shelton Panganai’s death as due to “unnatural causes,” directly contradicting earlier suggestions that the child died peacefully or of natural illness.

Marked with clear handwriting and official police stamps, the report confirms that no post-mortem was performed, raising immediate red flags about the thoroughness — or deliberate suppression — of the investigation. It also notes that foul play was “not suspected”, a baffling statement given the graphic nature of Shelton’s injuries, reportedly caused by an aggressive dog attack.

This contradiction between the visible trauma inflicted on the child’s body and the official narrative minimising suspicion has further enraged locals, with many now accusing authorities of tampering with evidence to shield the dog owner — an ex-combatant with alleged political connections.
