The ZRP confirms a road traffic accident which occurred on 06/08/25, at the 52 km peg along Mutare-Nyanga Road, near Pafiwa High School, Mutasa where two people were killed while eight others were injured.
A motorist driving a Nissan Caravan kombi, with six passengers on board, towards Nyanga collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla vehicle heading towards Mutare with three passengers on board.
The bodies of the victims were referred to Bonda Mission Hospital for a post-mortem, while the injured victims were admitted at the same hospital.
